Some places in this world just have a magical feeling. Santa Cruz is one of them. Every year I make the trek up there for the Cold Water Classic because I get to hang out with friends and enjoy watching an influx of talent rip the waves on offer. This year suffered from a lack of swell but that doesn't mean much considering what kids can do on 1 foot waves now. Next year the CWC is going to be a CT which will be fun to watch. Cheers to all those who let me crash on their couches and toured me around.
